Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight is not the only one who can ‘Live By Night’. Zoe Saldana & Elle Fanning star as Ben Affleck writes and directs.
After Ben Affleck finished living life as the Dark Knight in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, he will begin to Live By Night on his next project. Ben Affleck’s next directional project is a self written flick titled Live By Night which has already lined up a incredible cast including Zoe Saldana, Elle Fanning and Sienna Miller.
The project will reunite Been Affleck with Boston based author Dennis LeHane, whose novel ‘Gone Baby Gone’ was adapted into the filmmaker’s directional début of the same name. Live By Night is based on characters from Dennis’ LeHane’s book The Given Day and brings them into the Prohibition Era. The plot will follow Joe (Ben Affleck), the son of a high ranking police captain who is dragged into a world of organised crime and debauchery. Graciella Suarez (Zoe Saldana) meet’s Joe whilst he is on business in Tampa. Another woman, Emma (Sienna Miller) falls in love with Joe at the beginning of the story whilst Loretta Figgis (Elle Fanning) plays a sheriff’s daughter and aspiring actress who gets herself into deep water with the wrong fishies.
Ben Affleck is directing from his own adapted screenplay. Affleck will also produce alongside Leonardo Dicaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran. To say there are some prestigious names in this flick is a modest statement.
Although there is no current production schedule announced for the movie, we can expect Live By Night in theatres on the 7th October 2016.
